How can my infant benefit from the Zumbini program? He's only a few months old, so what can he get out of this?
The first benefit is the bonding, the time spent with you and your child. The rest of the benefits will fall into place naturally, including social, emotional, cognitive, motor, and language development. While your child is in your arms, they will feel the beat and learn the rhythm through your body. Just as a child learns to talk by hearing you talk, they learn music by spending time with you musically.
How long is a typical Zumbini class?
Each Zumbini class is generally 45 minutes in duration. However, give yourself a few minutes before and after for socialization with the other families and the licensed Zumbini instructor. For more information regarding Zumbini class duration, we suggest that you contact your licensed Zumbini instructor.
Are Zumbini classes fitness classes?
The Zumbini program is NOT a fitness class. It is an early childhood development class. The Zumbini program is designed to stimulate learning, inspire dance and movement, and strengthen the bond between parent and child.
Do I need to bring anything else to a Zumbini class to keep my child entertained?
There is no need to bring anything other than your diaper bag and whatever you would normally bring on an outing! During a Zumbini class, your child will not need anything other than YOU, the caregiver!
What is recommended clothing for a caregiver and the child while attending a Zumbini class?
Come to class in comfortable clothing so that you and your child have freedom of movement. Shoes are optional; however, if you do choose to wear shoes, try to make sure they are CLEAN! Some babies will be crawling on the floor and we want to keep the floor as clean and free of germs as possible.
Is there a break during each Zumbini class?
There is no scheduled break during the 45 minute Zumbini class. Usually the children and adults are both so engaged during the Zumbini class that no break is needed. Of course, each family may take breaks if needed.
What if I can't attend a Zumbini class during the session?

What are the benefits of taking a Zumbini class?
The benefits of the Zumbini class are innumerable! The first benefit is the bonding, the time shared between caregiver and child. Other benefits include social, emotional, cognitive, motor, and language development. Music stimulates learning naturally. Music and movement tap into all three types of learners: visual, kinesthetic, and auditory. No matter which type of learner your child is, they can benefit from this music and movement program. Children learn through play, and the Zumbini format is based on just that: "Playing" with music!
