Specialty Programs
Get licensed in new areas through advanced training to expand your offerings as an instructor. Here are a few specializations you can get:
- Zumba + Lift™: Incorporate strength training into your classes with alternating intervals of dancing and weightlifting. Take training as on demand e-Learning to get a Certificate of Completion and a license to teach.
- CIRCL Mobility™: Offer classes focused on flexibility, mobility, and breathwork. With this on demand licensing program, you'll gain the ability to teach full classes or add CIRCL Mobility™ to the end of any other fitness classes.
- Zumbini™: Work with children ages 0 to 3 and their caregivers. You can get licensed to teach on demand or through livestream courses. Zumbini™ teaches you how to combine child development with Zumba®.
Skill Development
Besides getting licensed for new class types, you can sharpen your teaching skills through:
- ZIN™ Jam Sessions: These three-hour sessions enable you to learn new choreography and network with other instructors. You can take several types of jam sessions, from choreography to rhythm.
- ZIN™ Mentoring Program: Get personalized guidance from an experienced mentor to help improve your teaching skills. This program is best for those who haven't yet taught their first class or those who don't teach regularly.
You can also take the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) Certification through your ZIN™ membership. With this, you get everything you need to earn and maintain your International Group Fitness Instructor certification.
