Saint Louis, this one's for you. The Gateway City has always known how to move — from the ragtime rhythms that were born here to the blues clubs of Soulard and the global beats echoing down Cherokee Street. Music runs through The Lou like the Mississippi runs along its edge, and we think that makes it the perfect place to answer a bigger question: what if your next step was teaching the city to move with you?
A City Built to Move
There's a reason Saint Louis feels like it was made for dance. This is a town where the Fabulous Fox Theatre and Powell Hall fill the Grand Center Arts District with sound, where The Muny has been staging outdoor musicals longer than anywhere else in the nation, and where the Delmar Loop still pulses with live music any night of the week. From the historic brick bungalows of The Hill to the murals and energy of The Grove, this city carries rhythm in its bones — and we're bringing a Zumba movement right into the heart of it.
Just like the 630-foot Gateway Arch reaches higher than any monument in the country, we believe you can reach further too. Becoming a Zumba Instructor isn't about where you start — it's about the climb, the joy, and the community you lift along the way.
What It Means to Become a Licensed Zumba Instructor
No dance degree. No experience required. No pressure to be perfect. Our trainings are designed to welcome you exactly as you are and send you out ready to lead. In a single day, a Zumba Education Specialist (ZES) will guide you through the formula, the rhythms, the choreography foundations, and the energy that make a Zumba class electric. By the end, you'll walk away as a Licensed Zumba Instructor — empowered, equipped, and part of a worldwide family that moves millions of people every week.
Your ZES has stood where you'll stand. They'll break things down, cheer you on, and make sure you leave with real confidence — not just steps, but the ability to share them. Think of it as the best party you'll ever learn to throw.
Why Saint Louis, Why Now
This city is on the rise. With the energy of Energizer Park drawing crowds downtown, the revitalized Union Station buzzing day and night, and neighborhoods from the Central West End to Tower Grove growing more vibrant by the season, there's never been a better moment to be part of the community here. Wellness is booming, people are craving connection, and a Zumba class is exactly the kind of joyful, inclusive space Saint Louis loves.
Picture it: a crowd that packs Busch Stadium for the Cardinals and the Enterprise Center for the Blues. That same passion — that same loyalty to showing up and bringing the noise — is the exact spirit that fills a great Zumba room. Saint Louisans know how to celebrate together. We just want to turn up the music and give you the mic.
