Salt Lake City, your rhythm is calling. Nestled between the shimmering Great Salt Lake and the towering Wasatch Mountains, this is a city built on movement — from powder days in the canyons to electric nights at the Delta Center. At Zumba, we believe that same energy belongs in you, and we're bringing our training right to your doorstep so you can unleash it.
A City That Already Moves — Now It's Your Turn to Lead
Known as the Crossroads of the West and the proud host of the 2034 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, Salt Lake City runs on passion, grit, and community. Residents of the Wasatch Front chase sunrises up the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, cheer on the Utah Jazz and the Utah Hockey Club, and gather in neighborhoods like Sugar House, 9th and 9th, and the Granary District to connect over good food and great vibes. That spirit of showing up for one another is exactly what powers a Zumba class — and exactly what makes this city ready for more licensed instructors.
When you become a Licensed Zumba Instructor, you don't just lead a workout. You create a space where people walk in tired and walk out transformed — smiling, sweating, and feeling like the best version of themselves. In a city this active and welcoming, that gift goes a long way.
Why Salt Lake City Is Made for Zumba
This is Ski City, where four world-class resorts sit within a 45-minute drive of downtown, and where wellness is woven into daily life. But movement here isn't only for the slopes. From the studios of Central 9th to the family-friendly parks like Liberty Park and the buzzing fitness community across the valley, there's a growing appetite for the kind of joyful, inclusive, music-driven fitness that only Zumba delivers.
Salt Lake City is also wonderfully easy to reach. Salt Lake City International Airport sits just six miles from downtown — a quick TRAX light-rail ride away — making it simple for aspiring instructors across Utah and beyond to join us. Whether you're coming from West Valley City, Sandy, or right in the heart of SLC, the opportunity to transform your life is closer than you think.
What Happens at a Zumba Training
Our upcoming Salt Lake City trainings are led by a Zumba Education Specialist (ZES) — an expert who lives and breathes this movement and will guide you every step of the way. You don't need a dance background. You don't need to be a fitness pro. You just need the willingness to let loose, learn the foundations, and discover the leader inside you.
In a single, high-energy day, your ZES will teach you the core rhythms, the signature choreography formulas, and the confidence to run a room. Whether you're starting with the foundational basics, jump-starting your skills, or sharpening your craft to the next level, you'll leave ready to turn on the music and change lives — starting with your own.
No Experience Required — Just You
The most beautiful thing about becoming a Licensed Zumba Instructor is that it's for everyone. Teachers, nurses, students, parents, retirees, athletes, and total beginners have all stepped into our trainings and walked out empowered. If you've ever felt that spark in the back of a Zumba class and thought, "I could do that" — this is your sign. You absolutely can.
Your Moment Is Now, Salt Lake City
This city thrives on bold goals and big arrivals — an Olympic future, a booming downtown, and a community that refuses to sit still. Add your name to that story. Picture yourself at the front of the room, lights up, bass thumping, a circle of people moving because you inspired them to. That's not a daydream. That's a training away.
Zumba is coming to Salt Lake City, and we saved a spot for you. Lace up, show up, and let's unleash your power together. Your community is waiting — and so is the best version of you.
