Zumba® Instructor Requirements

The only requirement to attend a Zumba® instructor training course is that you are 18 or older. Starting a career as a dance fitness instructor can be rewarding and offers you a unique, fun way to help people become the best version of themselves. Zumba® Instructor Training

To earn your Zumba® License, you will need to take the Zumba® Instructor training called Zumba® Basic 1. This training was designed to teach you the fundamentals of Zumba® and how to create an immersive, engaging dance fitness routine. During the training, you can work alongside a Zumba® specialist to learn essential tips and tricks on how to lead a successful career as a Zumba® instructor. As you progress through the materials, you will learn the four basic Zumba® rhythms, including salsa, merengue, reggaeton and cumbia.

Your Zumba® license in New Hampshire is valid for six months from the day you complete your training.
