Fort Lauderdale, the rhythm is already in you — you just need the stage to let it loose. Known as the “Venice of America” for its 300-plus miles of shimmering canals and as the “Yachting Capital of the World,” this is a city built on movement, energy, and sun-soaked celebration. At Zumba, we're bringing our Instructor Trainings right to your doorstep, and we can't wait to help you transform your passion into purpose.
Why Fort Lauderdale Was Made for Zumba
There's something electric about this stretch of Florida's southeastern coast. From the golden sand and the iconic white wave wall along the Fort Lauderdale Beach Promenade to the open-air cafes and buzzing cocktail lounges of Las Olas Boulevard, this city knows how to move. The same spirit that lights up the Intracoastal Waterway during the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade and fills the oceanfront during the Tortuga Music Festival is the exact kind of joyful, feel-the-music energy that lives at the heart of every Zumba class.
Just like the city blends upscale coastal living with laid-back beach culture, Zumba blends serious fitness with a party you never want to leave. If you've ever danced along the Riverwalk, soaked up the creative pulse of FATVillage's art walks, or felt the roar of the Fort Lauderdale Air Show above the waves, you already understand what it means to be fully alive in the moment. Now imagine leading a room full of people to that same feeling.
Become a Licensed Zumba Instructor
Our upcoming trainings in and around the Fort Lauderdale and greater Miami area are your invitation to step into something bigger. Whether you're drawn to the foundational Zumba Basic 1 experience, the gentle-yet-mighty approach of Zumba Gold, the resistance-driven power of Zumba Sentao, or a Jump Start Gold session, each one is designed to give you the tools, confidence, and choreography to lead with heart. Some are even available via livestream and virtual formats, so you can start your journey from wherever you are.
Every training is led by a Zumba Education Specialist (ZES) — passionate, experienced educators who have walked this path and now guide others along it. Your ZES will break down the rhythms, teach you the core steps, and show you how to create a class that moves all people to unleash their power. By the end, you won't just know the moves. You'll know how to make an entire room feel unstoppable.
Easy to Reach, Impossible to Forget
Getting here is a breeze. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and nearby Miami International Airport (MIA) connect you to the world, while the Brightline station downtown links you quickly to Miami, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and Orlando. Whether you're a local who walks the Riverwalk every morning or traveling in for your training, you'll find getting to class simple — and leaving as a brand-new you unforgettable.
Turn Your Beach-City Energy Into a Career
Picture it: teaching a sunrise class near the ocean, building your own community of movers, setting your own schedule, and getting paid to do what you already love.
