Hi, I’m Sharon Gelboin-Katz and I love teaching Zumba Gold & Zumba Gold Chair classes. I come to Zumba with a strong background in folk dancing and teaching Israeli/International folk dance and movement classes to kids and seniors. I love incorporating some of those fantastic Israeli and International rhythms and moves into my Zumba Gold classes. I have taught dance for many years at the Holiday Park Senior Center and at many schools and summer camps. My current class schedule includes more active Zumba Gold classes that meet at fitness and community centers, very low impact Zumba Gold for residents of Senior living communities and Zumba Chair classes for those with limited mobility. I also teach Israeli/International Folk Dance for seniors and Israeli Dance/Movement/Hebrew Immersion classes in area preschools, day schools, synagogues and for special events. Do not worry about knowing how to dance because all you have to do is smile, follow my lead and have fun. I look forward to meeting you! I am available for ongoing classes or one time events.
