Hello everybody. I started doing Zumba in early 2009 when the girls in the office made me go with them. At first, like everyone, I thought I was the most uncoordinated person in the world. After a few weeks, I started getting my confidence. After a few months, I couldn't be stopped. A year later, and 100 pounds lighter, I had to share this experience with as many people as I can. I am so excited to keep the party going, here in Columbia, SC. ========
2018 UPDATE: As you can see I skipped 2017, I did have both knees replaced by July. I did attend the convention (although using a scooter and ice machine). But, I did have to close The Studio. For the next few months I got lazy and felt sorry for myself and yes, gained about 30 pounds. It's been about a year since surgery and I'm ready to kick booty again! Here I come 2018 Convention! ========
2016 UPDATE: Time is flying, classes are booming! We've had Master Classes, Jam Sessions, Private Zumba Parties, all kinds of events. Let's keep it growing! Send me an email if you have any ideas or want to plan something.========
2015 UPDATE: I have officially named the place... The Studio. I know, not too flashy not too catchy, but it does tell you a lot. Plenty of events are on the way. The link above should take you there.========
2014 UPDATE: I just opened another studio dedicated to Zumba! I welcome everyone interested in teaching, dancing, or just checking it out for the 1st time. Click on Classes or Calendar links above to get more info. ========
UPDATE: A few of my students were so inspired, that they went out and got licensed. Now, they are out motivating others. Zumba is now woven into my lifestyle and my mission is to weave it into others. I love showing people my "before" picture and seeing their reaction. Then, I get the chance to tell them how Zumba has chanced my life. ========
Every class is different. Every instructor is different. >>>>
Take my class, take someone elses class. Just get involved.>>>>>>
Come on.... Ditch the workout!
