Willowbrook, It's Time to Unleash Your Power
Tucked into southeastern DuPage County, just 20 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, Willowbrook has always been a village that knows how to balance quiet neighborhoods with big energy. From the restored prairie trails at Prairie Trail Park to the summer buzz of Movies in the Park and Neighborhood Nights at Borse Park, this community thrives on coming together and moving forward. At Zumba, we think that's exactly the kind of spirit that makes a place ready for something bigger — and we're bringing it right to your doorstep.
We're inviting the people of Willowbrook to step onto the floor and discover what it feels like to turn a love of music and dance into a credential — and a calling. Whether you've been a regular in the back row of class or you've simply dreamed of leading the room, this is your moment.
Where Route 66 Energy Meets the Zumba Movement
There's something fitting about launching a transformation in a town built on movement. Willowbrook sits at the crossroads of Interstate 55 and Illinois Route 83, with Historic US Route 66 — anchored by the legendary Dell Rhea's Chicken Basket — running along its southern edge. This has always been a place people pass through on their way to something exciting. We say it's time to make Willowbrook the destination. Right here, surrounded by the community you know, you can join a global movement that has transformed millions of lives through the simple, joyful power of rhythm.
What Happens at a Zumba Instructor Training
A Zumba Instructor Training is so much more than a workshop — it's a doorway. Over the course of the day, you'll learn alongside a Zumba Education Specialist (ZES), a master educator whose entire purpose is to guide you, cheer you on, and hand you the tools to lead with confidence. Our ZES won't just teach you the steps; they'll help you find your voice as a leader and show you how to move a room full of people to let go and have fun.
By the end, you'll walk away with the knowledge, the choreography foundations, and the inspiration to become a Licensed Zumba Instructor — ready to bring your own classes to life. No dance background required. No prior teaching experience needed. Just an open heart and a willingness to move.
The Perfect Place to Begin
Willowbrook residents already know the value of staying active. With more than 54 acres across ten community parks, the 2,500-acre Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve right next door, and a community that shows up for one another at every seasonal event, wellness is woven into daily life here. Imagine being the person who channels all that energy into an unforgettable class — the ZES in your neighbor's phone, the name friends tag when they want to feel alive again.
Our upcoming trainings in Willowbrook include Zumba Basic 1, the essential starting point for anyone ready to earn their license, as well as Jump Start Gold for those who want to specialize in energizing, accessible classes for active older adults. With convenient access via Midway International Airport and welcoming local venues, everything is set up for you to show up and shine.
Your Transformation Is One Class Away
There's never a wrong season to change your life — not spring, not summer, not the heart of a Chicago winter. Every great instructor started exactly where you are right now: curious, a little nervous, and ready to take the leap. We've seen it happen thousands of times, and we can't wait to see it happen for you.
Willowbrook, the music is already playing. All you have to do is step in. Join us at an upcoming Zumba training, embrace the fun, and discover the leader you were always meant to be.
