One morning in 2011 I got on my home scale and I weighed 180lbs. At 5 feet tall and realizing that I was only 20lbs away from 200, I couldn't believe I had let myself get in that shape. So I decided I needed to do something about it. My husband and I joined a gym. While on the treadmill one evening after work, I saw a group of ladies gathering up in the back of the gym. Then the music started. I couldn't stop watching the class. They looked like they were having the best time. After one class I was hooked! I started going once a week, then twice a week, then three times. I have been doing Zumba (R) for ten years now. I became an instructor for Zumba (R) in 2012 and since then have also got licensed in STRONG NATION(R), Zumba Toning (R), and Zumba Gold (R). I instruct at Woodlawn Christian in South Knoxville  and Olivet Baptist church in North Knoxville and I have an amazing Zumba Crew.

Zumba (R) is great for everyone. You are welcome to join us in your fitness journey whether beginner or more advanced. Modifications and Progressions are available and I am happy to help with any needs you may have.
