I started attending Zumba classes in 2009, and suddenly this sedentary bookworm with music in her soul found an amazing opportunity to be free, have fun, drip sweat, and become part of an incredible community. This became especially important when I began seriously struggling with a chronic, incurable illness. Since I became an instructor in 2012 my goal has been to lead empowering, joyous, easy-to-follow, and uplifting classes that forge new connections within each participant's body and mind. That sounds lofty, but I have found nothing that opens my spirit quite like a Zumba class. I hope you'll give mine a try.
