A native of the UK, I have had extensive careers in Radiation Oncology and marketing, with a BA in Health Services Administration, and a MBA. I have many years of experience in most dance genres, from traditional to cardio dance, and over 15 years of Middle Eastern dance as a professional performer and instructor. My education and experience enable me to work with a variety of age groups, and any associated fitness challenges. Zumba is now my passion, with a way to invigorate others to be happy and healthy.
A review of my class sent to the fitness manager: "For myself and on behalf of several other folks in the Zumba class we wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed Kathleen Hill! Wow what a teacher and boy can she move!!! Thoroughly enjoyed her and loved her music and moves. Honestly she has created a small following. I thought with all the other emails I have sent... you deserve to have some positive feedback. Some of the girls who were doubtful before class, were eating crow before Kathleen's warm-up was over."
From a fitness manager,-----"I really enjoyed your demo at the "lets move lets play" event. You are very good at instructing! It was so much fun for me. I also heard rave reviews when you did your demo at the concert series. Glad you're on our team."
From a "Gold" participant: Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your class. I realize it is difficult to please everyone’s music style: However you do an excellent job of blending all cultures, tempos etc. We seem to exercise every part of our body and maybe some parts we forgot we had! Thank you for making it so much fun.
In summary, my classes are a blast of fun, energy. and always incorporate a fun-filled hour with a variety of rhythms.
After teaching between 9-16 successful weekly classes, since 2008, some of which grew to 50 participants per class, I recently relocated to Nipomo, CA., from the Bay Area. I am currently growing a variety of classes in the California Central Coast.
