Hello! I'm Hector Valentin, born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I currently live in Sterling, VA, where I've been a ZIN™ Member since DEC 2011 and I absolutely love teaching Zumba® classes. As Latino I love music, dance and those rhythms that make Zumba® what it is today. After moving to Virginia in 2010 I needed a venue to occupy my free time. It wasn't until I took a Zumba ®class for a fundraiser event where I fell in love and wanted to see what could Zumba® do for my personal life. I was so inspired during that event that I decided to take Zumba® seriously and attended 5 classes a week with two amazing instructors. Those classes made me feel alive. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! Today, I am a licensed to teach Zumba, Zumba® Toning, Aqua Zumba®, Zumba Sentao®, Zumba Gold®, Zumba Gold® Toning, Zumba® Kids, Zumba® Step, Zumba in Circuit. Often people think Zumba® is difficult or that you have to have rhythm or be an avid dancer. I assure you, you do not! Come join me, I guarantee you will have a blast!
