What is Zumba Fitness? It is a dance fitness program that plays different or a variety of "rhythms" from all over the world.
It is a combination of both Latin and International rhythms. It is exercise in disguise.
Facts about me:
I live in Newark, CA. I've been a ZIN™ Member since Jun 2013 but didn’t start teaching til November 2013 and I absolutely, wholeheartedly love, love, love teaching Zumba classes.
I love seeing people dance with smiles on their faces. Its heaven to me.
I have No dance experience at all. What I do is I dance and teach from the heart. I feel the beat and allow my body to follow. To join a Zumba Fitness class, you don't have to be a dancer. It is a form of fitness and not a dance performance or competition. Anyone can join and be at their best. Just follow my cues and let the music sync in. There is absolutely no mistake in Zumba just accidental solos.

What is Zumba?
A Zumba class combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using principles from aerobic and fitness to achieve cardio and muscle-toning benefits.
. In every Zumba lesson four core rhythms are always present: merengue
, cumbia and reggaeton
. Besides, there are six other official rhythms that might be incorporated in the instructor playlist, these are: belly dance, flamenco, tango, samba
Once the instructor has included the four core rhythms in the playlist, he/she can choose out of the other six official rhythms or other internationally famous songs to finish off his/her 1 hour Zumba playlist. Other very popular rhythms that could be found in a Zumba class are: dancehall, dembow, bhangra, hip-hop
