Hello! I'm Andrea from  SC. I've been a ZIN™ Member since Apr 2012 and I absolutely love teaching Zumba classes. For over seven years I been teaching at the North Springs Park Rec Center, it’s my pleasure to dance with my awesome Students! The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! I am currently licensed to teach Zumba, Zumba® Toning, Aqua Zumba®, Zumba Sentao®, Zumba Gold®, Zumba Gold® Toning, Zumba® Kids & Kids Jr., Zumba® Step. I’ve always loved sports. In my youth I was a speed skater and cyclist in East Germany at an elite sports school. My dream was to be an Olympian or a coach, but history happened, and I became a Banker and married an American soldier. We have two amazing kids. After the birth of my second child, I started working out on the Wii, which is where I came across Zumba. After moving to Columbia, SC, I attended my first Zumba Class in 2011 and I was in love! My husband encouraged me to become an Instructor. Long story short, I gained many more fitness licenses and certifications, including all the Zumba licenses, Boot Camp Workout, Senior Fitness and Foam Roller certification. Over the past 9 years I have worked at gyms, my local rec center and done group fitness classes for local businesses and corporations.  In 2017 I made my dream come true and became and NSAM certified Personal Trainer and created my business, A.K FITT, with a focus to inspire healthy living. Healthy living is my passion and I love to motivate and encourage others to live their best life. Currently I teach Zumba Gold, Zumba Fitness, Aqua Fit, POUND, STRONG Nation.
